for more information on the attacks in Pune yesterday, check out this article from reuters. sounds like it was likely in reaction to the pakistan-india talks and meant to derail the peace process. this stuff can really creep a dude out, who is about to travel there. all the major cities are on red alert which is actually good - things should (*fingers crossed*) be calm for a while. at least enough time for us to get to the countryside.
